Guys, I have no idea why I thought I was making it to level 40 before the year was over. I will say, I think I made some good progress!
I’ve still got quite a ways to go in order to get to 40, and while I missed out on the legacy achievement, I can’t say I’m necessarily disappointed.
This year was definitely weird. Quarantine left me unable to really raid, until remote passes came out. I had a really tough pregnancy, that kept me pretty home and bed bound up until my last few weeks, when I pushed through the pain and nausea, in hopes that the walking would urge my little one along (it didn’t). Now that said little one is here, I don’t necessarily really even play anymore. The app stays open while I walk with my son, but unless something particularly interesting or rare pops up, I tend to not really be catching anything.
To be honest, the fact that I’m more than half way through level 38 is nothing short of a miracle.
What I can say though, is that I’m enjoying the ridiculous event Pikachu and Slowpoke, that we’re finally able to evolve, after months of dressed up Pokemon that we can do nothing with. For some reason, they are my absolute favourite.
Hopefully you all had some nice Pokemon Go moments last year! Looking forward to what’s in store next!
